Materials Fees
Materials fees may be required by the student during the course of your study. Materials purchased will be the property of the participant. These materials may be available through commercial suppliers. Students have the right to purchase these goods from whichever source they choose. Refund and exchange policies applicable to these goods are determined by the relevant supplier.
In the case of Skills Deepening courses (Diplomas), printed course material is not an allowable material fee unless it is made available to the student to download free of charge, and the student chooses to pay for a printed copy.

Fees in relation to skills recognition (Recognition of Prior Learning – RPL)
Skills Recognition or RPL means that skills, experience and knowledge you already have can be assessed for credit against a qualification. This can occur either before or after your enrolment.
Applicants for RPL who are not eligible for government subsidised training (for Skills Deepening Courses) will pay the published fees.
If you have already paid the maximum tuition fee, there is no further charge for a recognition application in other units or modules.
You can apply for RPL in whole units of competency of modules – not parts of units or modules.

• 100 percent refund if the institute cancels your course.
• 100 percent refund of all fees paid if you apply for a transfer to another educational institute within four weeks of the commencement of your course. The letter of offer from the institution must be lodged with the refund/withdrawal application.
